Thank you so much for visiting our site! My name is Pierre and since I can remember, I have always been a fan of everything that has to do with fantasy.

I am not 100% sure but I believe that my first contact with fantasy was watching the movie, The NeverEnding Story with my sister, my aunt, and my dad.
I remember how fascinated I was by the flying dragon Fuchur or the giant turtle called Morla.
I remember how stirring it was to me watching Atréju fight the huge Gmork who is probably something like a werewolf.
Fun fact: I have never rewatched The NeverEnding Story. I saw it a couple of times as a very young kid and in my memory, this movie looked incredibly realistic and had great special effects, haha.
However, that was just the beginning.
My dad introduced me and my sister at a very young age to Star Wars. As a kid, I was almost obsessed with the Star Wars Universe.
I collected so many toys (I still have some of them), read so many books about Star Wars, played every Star Wars game I could get.
Anime: Every. Single. Day.
With a sister who is just one year older than me, I was very fortunate to grow up in the 90s with a person with whom I could share all these great movies, games, series.
Together with my sister, I watched Sailor Moon, Lady Georgie, Cat’s Eye, Dragonball, Wedding Peach, Ohayō! Spank, and many more anime series.
Fun Fact: Even though all I loved every anime series I watched, I think that Shin-Chan is my favorite. Just too funny!
When I was 11 years old, I was kind of addicted to Dragonball Z. I never missed one single episode.
To this day, my sister and I send us old-school anime openings from time to time, just to feel the nostalgia.
Gaming Was Awesome And A Great Way To Escape
My parents got a divorce when I was 4 years old. As you can imagine, this was not really a pleasant time.
However, my sister and I still had great times despite the circumstances.
We visited our dad for one weekend every two weeks. On almost all of those weekends, he went to the movies with us. We also often went swimming, inline skating…
…and he also had a Nintendo Entertainment System, later a Super Nintendo, and a Playstation 1.
We played Mario Bros, Secret Of Evermore, Final Fantasy 8, and many, many more games like there was no tomorrow.
We even set an alarm at 5 AM on the weekends so that we could get up before our dad and play games without any disturbance, haha.
With 16, I got a little bit addicted to World Of Warcraft. I remember coming home from school on Friday at 2 PM, going right to the computer and play World Of Warcraft until 6 AM in the morning the next day.
Good times, haha.
Books Were Even Better Than Movies
I just love fantasy books. Especially, fantasy books with well-written, highly detailed fighting scenes.
One year before I started playing World Of Warcraft, I found the books about Drizzt Do’Urden written by R.A. Salvatore.
Just like The Lord Of The Rings and The Hobbit, the tales of Drizzt have a special place in my heart.
Of course, I also read all Harry Potter books and I can tell you, growing up with those books at the exact same age as Harry, Ron, and Hermine was truly something magical.
I rewatch the movies each year and each time I see them, I get goosebumps. It’s like those movies turn me into my 11-year-old self again and show me exactly how I felt at that age.
So What Is This Website All About?
As you see, gaming, movies, anime, manga, and fantasy, in general, was a huge part of my life when I was young and it still is.
It always was a great way to escape from reality when things weren’t going well. I mean whose life is perfect, right? Everyone needs to escape once in a while.
I created this website to help people find new worlds to escape in, understand their favorite movies, games, or series better, and just to talk/write about fantasy stuff I love.
Who Is Creating This Site With Me?
There will be many people working on this site with me. People who love fantasy and similar genres as much as I do.
I will list them all here.
Katrina
I’m Kat, a writer, dog lover, and I have this simple but loving relationship with anime and manga (17 years and still counting!) When I am not watching anime and reading manga, I am left wishing that I can do those instead.
One Piece is my all-time favorite, but Violet Evergarden, Another, Attack on Titan, Assassination Classroom, Haikyuu, HunterxHunter, Yona of the Dawn, and many more-makes me want to cheat on Luffy. Simply put, if it’s anime, I will watch it.
Jade

As an International Relations major, she’ll talk non-stop about culture if you let her. But don’t ask about her favorite anime since she can be indecisive. If you insist, she’ll list off Kimi no Nawa, Shakugan no Shana, My Hero Academia, and twenty other titles.
She LOVES traveling and has been to Japan four times, prefers DC comics but enjoys Marvel movies, and dreams of visiting every Disney park in the world.
